for Service
YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING: 1. The new service address, 2. A valid Driver’s License or other Government Issued Photo ID, 3. A second form of ID (Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, Passport, Military ID, Student ID, Concealed Carry Permit, Insurance Card, valid Credit or Debit Card with your name on it, etc.), 4. Social Security Number, 5. Start Date for Service (please allow one business day), and 6. Proof of ownership (Rental/Lease Agreement, Closing Statement, Deed, etc).
Select Apply for Residential Service or Apply for Commercial Service to begin the process of applying for a new service. You will then receive an email from one of our representatives with further instructions to complete the process. The application process is not complete and service will not be turned on until MSEB has obtained a completed application, two forms of identification, and all required fees and deposits have been paid.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER 4:00 P.M. WILL NOT BE PROCESSED UNTIL THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY.
Commercial Services
A representative of the
company applying for service must provide a copy of their
Muscle Shoals City business license and fill out an application
for service, provide identification, and pay all deposits
and service fees. In some instances, a commercial customer
will be required to sign a power contract. For more information
